Doesn't My Friend Flicka take place in Wyomig? I remember that one and the sequels from my childhood since I'm such a horse girl myself. Wish I had the money to take up riding again. There's a reason my characters tend to be cavalry officers, lol.
The 2006 version was filmed (in part)about 100 miles from where I live. Of course, 100 miles from here is green grass and mountains... Probably the same reason my heroes are cavalry officers. *g*
