Not My Ideal Job

Part of my job involves counseling people on What They Want To Be When They Grow Up, I thought I'd seen most of the weird and quirky jobs out there. After all, I live in an area where it's okay to play with dump trucks for a living. (240 ton trucks but... still a giant Tonka toy)

For the record, this video shows exactly what I DON'T want in a job. Funny, the guy in the video doesn't seem at all perturbed.

See, the first thing I thought when I saw that truck was, Man, that'd be so cool to drive!

I guess we're just two very different people.

Hey, if driving a 2 story house down the road is your thing, go for it. *g* Personally, I couldn't take driving a 2 story house from Point A to Point B back to Point A again for 12 hours a day.

Writing at work would definitely not be an option. :)

Not 12 hours a day, but the big toys are fun. I've driven a tank once - it's an amazing feeling to drive something that can flatten a car. Would be useful on those crowded interstates here. :)

Did tanks, dozers, scrapers, graders, etc. in the military - much prefer blowing things up to running them over. :D

Well, blowing things up is fun, too. :)

The Army engineers provided the perfect combination - build it, blow it up, build it, blow it up. It was fun being the 500 pound Godzilla on base...
