On the subject of helpdesks and technology, heard on one of Radio 4's comedy sketch shows:
[Town name] is also famous as the place where John Smith, inventor of the life-support machine, died. His last words were, "Have you tried switching it off and back on again -- aargh---"
*g* I love last words. Not that I have anything witty to leave... Maybe I better get working on that.
I suspect that the majority of so-called last words are apocryphal, myself...
On the bright side, you won't get a chance to edit your last words. *g*
