Merlin and Max are happy to see you. |
1. It's been raining for a week. The grass is Corgi high in the
backyard. I have my own pond in the front yard under the birdfeeder. But
it still beats drought conditions.
2. About to make my first attempt at caving cherry
wood for a print. Since I only get one attempt at this block, I'm a bit
nervous. Sharp tools, I tell myself - sharp tools and wide lines. It's
supposed to hold detail well, though. We'll see how daring I get.
3. What do you do when you love watching baseball, but your team can't win its way out of a paper bag?
4. Speaking of sports, what's your favorite summertime sport to watch or participate in?
5. Lots of research going on - both for short
stories and for poems. Yes, I research before writing some poems. And here I bet
you thought they sprang forth full blown like Athena from the head of
Zeus. :)

Merlin and Max should post their own fragments!
It's been raining all week here, too, and we've considered whether Truffles will get lost in our yard if we take the leash off.
Sports? Nah. Well, mostly. Go watch a minor league game - they're fun!
Good luck with the research. Love research.
Max used to have his own blog, when he was younger. :)
I think we have to mow tomorrow. Or risk losing a Corgi in the hayfield out back.
We have an American Legion team here, fun to watch. I think they have a Single A ball team in Casper.
Research is the best!
Max and Merlin love the camera, don't they?
Do they like the hayfield, or do they prefer it when the grass is mown?
Max and Merlin prefer short grass - otherwise they have to porpoise through it, which while funny to watch, is probably tiring...
How did the cherry wood come out? And, I'm curious, what baseball team do Wyomingers (Wyomingings?) tend to root for?
Haven't carved the cherry wood yet, working my way up to it.
Wyomingites tend to follow the Colorado Rockies, with a few Minnesota Twins and Detroit Tigers fans thrown in. I've even seen a Boston fan or two out here. So we just adopt from other states. :)
