Fragment Friday - Devils Tower Road Trip Part 1

It was the annual trip out towards Devils Tower, so the Periphery took a camera along. This weeks views, the Wildlife.

A beautiful October day with Devils Tower, blue skies and the golden grasses.
Grazing near the Tower were numerous white tailed deer...
... and wild turkeys.
One wild pony was spotted.

A few cows enjoying the grasses.

We saw mule deer by the side of the back roads.

Since we weren't hunting, the muleys seemed curiously unafraid.

Even pausing to be photographed. Thanks, Muley!

Like the crows, I was looking for shiny things - to photograph!

Next week - 36 Views of Devils Tower.

They were curious - since we didn't have guns.

Looks like a great road trip. I'd like to get to Devil's Tower one day. Is it one of those places where you feel the energy?

Split Pea Traveler - You can feel lots of things at the Tower, depends on the weather and how crowded it is. By yourself in the off season around it? Yeah, things are there. :)
