Fragment Friday - Post Thanksgiving Edition

1.    Switching colas is made more difficult by the fact no restaurant mixes it the same way. My taste buds are confused.

2.    I ended up making 3 pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving, and eldest child promptly took one off my hands. Good boy.

3.    Thinking of upgrading some of the software on my laptop. I hate change, though, so thinking about it is as far as I've gotten.

4.    Did you know Corgis honk like geese when they are excited?

5.    The good thing about duck for Thanksgiving – no leftovers. The bad thing about duck for Thanksgiving? No leftovers.

Anon unsolicited commentary;

1. Flat restaurant cola is the pits!

2. Smart kid!
I believe the politically correct term would be "opportunist"...

3.Upgrade the laptop,easier.

4. Something ain't quite right about that...

5. Duck???
Why not Alpaca, or Llama?

Happy Thanksgiving and day after from New Yawk!

Hope you thoroughly enjoyed the holiday Connie! The fixin's here weren't up to what I hoped, but I ALMOST convinced your Dad to try some turkey in the privacy of his own home... in the end he politely declined. Maybe next year....

Anon, I have an antique version of Word. As a writer, I feel guilty...
Duck for Thanksgiving - blame Scott. It was good though. Honey Curry glazed.

Nonny - I'm sure my brother has told you of the time we guilt tripped my Dad into eating turkey. He said never again, so good for you on almost getting him there.

Hmmm....maybe two ducks next year? One of my favorite things about the day after Thanksgiving is pie for breakfast. Yum.

Or just do a turducken and get it over with? :)

Re number 3 again; You sound like a perfect candidate for "Dragon"...the speech to text software that is being heavily advertised.

Anon - then I would feel like Scott in Star Trek, talking to my computer - and expecting an answer!

I talk to my computers all the time.
"F'in piece of s**t" being my most used phrase.
