Fragment Friday

Since Blogger doesn't want to cooperate and upload my planned picture set, even today, here's an older Corgi pic to tide you over.

1.  Had the grandkids spend the night last night. Now I know why you have kids when you are young. I treid capturing all that energy in the jar, but no dice. The Corgis were ecstatic to have little humans to herd and lick. The cat floated about, getting underfoot and getting his tail stepped on.

2.  We had our first snow of the season. Since Blogger's not cooperating, I can't show you the pics. Suffice to say it was heavy and wet and bent all the tree branches down. The roads were melted off by noon, but the snow is still there. I'm not ready for winter. How about you?

3.  Thinking of getting a new computer. Now my choice is laptop or desktop? I hardly ever take my present laptop anywhere, but I like having the option available. But desktops are cheaper for more features. What would you recommend?

4.  The Corgis are shedding. Exponentially. Does this mean a hard winter or a densely furred Corgi?

5.  I was happy to find Play-Doh doesn't reek as bad as it did when my kids were little. Neither do the markers. And they clean up with a wipe. Finally, someone with kids is running the kid product section. Oh, and I learned new things on Angry Birds - from the seven year old.

Never mind, you can never have too many cute Corgi pics:-)
Snow already? That sounds early.

It was an early snow. Caught us by surprise. I guess Wyoming doesn't ease into anything gently...

I'm not ready for snow just yet, but in Minnesota it's always possible! I just acquired a tablet over the summer - an Asus VivoTab that runs Windows 8 - and I like it for staying connected, but it's not something to use for a bigger project. I've loved my MacBook Pro, but it's now old and cranky. I'm considering a desktop and might switch to a PC. More for the money. Still on the fence about that. Reasons for wanting the desktop include bigger screen for working with photos.

We're expecting snow again this Friday. So not ready for winter...
I want a bigger screen too, so I'm thinking desktop with 24 inch screen. I don't think I've used my laptop as a portable device in over 2 years.
