Fragment Friday - With Snow

12 inches of wet, heavy snow and counting. Lots of broken tree limbs. Winter starts with a thud in Wyoming.

On the other hand, the last vestiges of fall from NY. Green tomato on the vine.

Purple flower in NY.

Yellow flowers with bee. NY.

Red tomato. NY

The Retreat on the River, NY.

"Winter starts with a thud..." Perfectly stated! While I usually love the first snowfall around here, it's not so lovely when it breaks tree branches, etc., under its mushy weight. Hope you didn't have too much damage.

We're still under a Level II emergency - no unnecessary travel. But at least it stopped snowing. I have lots of broken branches. Will be trimming a lot of trees.

Looks like Porter and Stoudt weather.

Steak and beer for dinner tonight. We raised a toast to our broken trees.

'Winter starts with a thud' - what a great line! Hope the damage is not too bad.

Carla - It could have been a lot worse. We only lost one tree and lots of branches. No holes in the roof.
