Photo Fragment Friday

Pics from a recent trip to NY - where it rained most of the time. A nice change from desert dry Wyoming.

New York roads led to interesting places . . .

to the grave of famous racehorses . . .

and woods overrun with deer and assorted edibles - like mushrooms!

It seemed like every downed log had mushrooms, some good, some not.
A quick pose and the deer was off.

The roads led to Quaker Lake . . .
the river . . .

and to friendly locals. 


It was good to see the fall foliage again - and family.

I have roots in the trees. Why I live on a treeless plain, I'm not really sure...
