The Road goes ever on and on, down from the door where it began... |
1. I watched The Lion In Winter last night on tv. I always stop to watch it, it's one of my favorite movies. What movies cause you to stay up late and watch, no matter what?
2. The birds were waiting for their breakfast this morning. I hadn't even made it to the front porch when they came winging in to eat. The Foodgiver = Not Scary in the birdie handbook to the universe.
3. Apparently one of the characters in my second fantasy novel has returned from vacation and wants his story written. I'm not quite trusting that he won't go AWOL again, though. So I'm researching background while I see if he settles in to stay.
4. The problem with reading so many blogs is that I see lots of books I want to read - then when I go to Amazon later, I've forgotten which ones of many got my interest. And yes, I have judged books by their covers...
5. When I look at my Dayplanner for March, it already seems jam packed. I'm really looking forward to more daylight in the evenings. I bet the Corgi's can't wait to play fetch. Time to buy new tennis balls!

Thanks for the beautiful picture which is now my desktop background.
I want to live on that rise to the right, surrounded by antennas,of course!
Corgis would be welcome,as visitors or appetizers for my pack of German Shepherds.
Anon- I have the gigantic size version if you want it. I scale down for the blog.
There's a better ridge before you get to this road. Nice and antenna high...
That photo is spectacular. That is exactly the kind of landscape that holds my attention, makes me want to drive on that road. Nice.
You'll laugh, but Fast Times at Ridgemont High would make me stay up late and watch to the end! I love to stumble upon old movies while channel flipping late at night.
Oh!
The picture was so good I forgot to actually read your blog!
I will stay up late to watch The Shawshank Redemption,My Cousin Vinny, Mr. Roberts and A Bronx Tale.
Fantastic picture. The road goes ever on, indeed.
Kathleen - Landscape here makes it hard to take a bad picture. I always find good movies about a half an hour before I have to go to bed. I hate seeing movies in unconnected chunks...
Anon - My cousin Vinny reminds me of some of the relatives...
Carla - Thanks!
That road looks fit for a motorcycle. Not that I have one, but if I did, that would be my road. Awesome pic.
In terms of movies, A Few Good Men comes to mind. As does As Good As It Gets and Witness. So, I guess it's not all about Jack Nicholson.
The roads to Devils Tower are excellent motorcycle roads - in the summer. Winter driving is a bit hairy. :)
