Fragment Friday - Listing

A muddy Merlin giving in to post dinner napping - one eye out for his brother.

Since I didn't do a Best of 2013 list, here is a rundown of the present day lists.

What I'm listening to -
Only Slightly Mad by David Bromberg - Blues/folk/gospel mix
Songbook - Chris Cornell- Live acoustic rock
Dancing In The Dragon's Jaws - Bruce Cockburn - Acoustic jazz/folk mix

What I'm watching - (As it turns out, not very much)
TV - Downton Abbey, Big Bang Theory, Flashpoint, Sherlock
Movies in the Queue - Star Trek Into Darkness, Oblivion, Confucius, Spring Summer Fall Winter and Spring, Game of Thrones Season 1

What I'm reading - (Almost all non-fiction, got any fiction recs?)
The Crafty Poet by Diane Lockward (Excellent poetry workshop book)
The Discovery of Poetry - Frances Mayes (Another good poetry writing book)
Moral Combat - Good and Evil in WWII by Michael Burleigh (Research)
Achilles in Vietnam: Combat Trauma and the Undoing of Character by Jonathan Shay (Research)
Daily Life in the Mongol Empire by George Lane (Because - Mongols!)
Dragons of Autumn Twilight by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman (It's reread the classics in D&D time)
Absolute Love - Billy Collins (Former poet laureate's latest offering)

Where I'm hanging out on the 'Net:
Ravelry - Social site for fiber artists
Absolute Write - Writer's Forum
Pottermore - Harry Potter interactive world
Games I'm playing:
Grand Theft Auto V (Car thieving goodness. And I still can't fly the helicopter. Or parachute. But I do love stealing Corvettes and wreaking them.)
Halo 4 (Nothing like waxing aliens with plasma grenades after a hard day at work)
Mass Effect (Why yes, I am way behind on playing Mass Effects, why do you ask?)
In the queue - Lego LOTR or Lego Harry Potter (I love Lego games. Deciding which to buy, I have Lego Star Wars.)

Max claiming the bed for duck and country.

Fiction recommendation for you: The Circle by Dave Eggers. It's about an internet company gone malignant (as in grows into all aspect of life....).

Tried to get a comment up the other day, but I couldn't prove I wasn't a robot! Hopefully, it was just the internet connection. ;)

Anyway, great lists. You gave me some good ideas, especially to check the couch for muddy dogs!!

Split Pea Traveler - I'm more afraid of zombies than robots...
Muddy dogs always pick the most comfortable location. After they shake in the kitchen, of course.
