Fragment Friday

Corgi Faces Flashback - Sister Emmy, Brother Max, Brother Merlin, Cousin Maggie wait for treats

1. I'm feeling the urge to do more research for the next novel. Always a precursor to writing. I'm glad Amazon lets me know when I've already bought a book. Then I just have to go search my overloaded shelves for it.

2. What music have you been listening to of late? Any recommendations?

3.  I'm slowly learning to get along with my Windows 8 computer. I put tiles of my most used programs on the slidy tile screen and that seems to work for me. I thought changing operating systems would be traumatic, but eh, no big deal it turns out. What's your OS? My laptop is still on Windows Vista.

4.  I did one of those online tests - What Middle Earth character type are you? I came out an Elf. I thought I should be a Hobbit due to my height (or lack thereof). But apparently I answered a question implying I'd rather sit around and sing Kumbaya than eat. My bad. Do you take those online tests? Do you get what you expect? (I just took the Star Wars one and came out Chewbacca. I must test tall...)

5.  The Corgis are thrilled when the Little People (grandkids) come to visit. Not only is there excitement, but coincidentally Little People carry their food around at Corgi nose height. Grandaughter 3 found out the hard way that bacon is much too tempting to carry around casually. Merlin claims he has no regrets....

All those corgis!! I have to show that photo to Abby. She will melt. And I'm writing this from my Mac, which uses OS X 10.6.8. It's an old MacBook Pro to which I added memory at one point (all by myself! No Genius Bar!) but now it's getting cranky. There's a new computer in my future sometime later this year but I'm on the fence about Mac versus PC. I have an Asus tablet that runs Windows 8.1 and I'm not sure I love it. But then there's the cost factor....Ugh.
My son Shawn just did a Star Wars online test and came up as Yoda. We're not going to hear the end of that one.

Good heavens, four of them! Never a dull moment....

I just don't understand. I got "wizard" and "Darth Vader"! And beyond your blog leading me to online questionnaires, I am wishing for a corgi to feed bacon to. Sigh.

Kathleen - The more Corgis the better! I passed on getting a Mac this time around because I couldn't justify the cost when compared to what I could get at half the price for a PC.
So what did you come up in the online tests? I'm dying to know...

Carla - actually that day I was also babysitting a Schnauzer too. It was crowded. But they all played nicely together. Mostly.

Nonny - Are you sure Anon didn't come up Darth Vader and Sauron? I fed the Corgis a cheeseburger on your behalf.

Since I did not partake of alcohol Friday night I have concluded that my double vision Saturday morning was brought on by an improper mixture of herbal tea.

Or perhaps you have a 3D Corgi printer?

A 3-D Corgi printer would be awesome! Everyone could have the stupendousness that is a Corgi. I'd send you at least two... and Nonny four.
